A revocation of appointment of a short-term guardian terminates the authority of the short-term guardian.The parent granting the power of attorney can withdraw (revoke) the power at any time, even before the expiration date of the power of attorney. It is best that the withdrawal be in writing. The parent withdrawing the power must be sure to fill out a revocation form and deliver it to the person granted the power of attorney. The withdrawal is effective immediately upon delivery.
